About SCP
Swearer Classroom Program is partnered with One Neighborhood Builders and is a part of the Community Corps program at the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University. Through the Swearer Classroom Program, Brown student volunteers provide students in grades K-5 at the William D'Abate Elementary School with individualized attention and in-depth focus on reading or math skills. Our primary goal is to have our volunteers be an added support for the students to further their educational experience and to serve as resources for teachers. This opportunity is eligible for work study and more information will be given at a later date. (OCFWS Eligible)
